CERAVE SA Smoothing Cleanser Salicylic Acid -Dry Rough Skin 236ml

This gentle, exfoliating cleanser is for dry, red, rough and bumpy skin, and assists in leaving the skin feeling clean, smooth and hydrated. The CeraVe SA formula contains salicylic acid to exfoliate without compromising the skin’s natural barrier, as well as hyaluronic acid to hydrate and retain moisture and 3 essential ceramides to moisturise and protect the skin's barrier. This unique combination of ingredients makes CeraVe SA Cleanser an effective way to remove oil, dirt and makeup as well as smooth and improve skin texture.

Dead skin cells can build up on the skin surface and create dry patches. Exfoliation helps to diminish dry patches and improve skin texture. The CeraVe smoothing cleanser contains salicylic acid which is a BHA. BHA’s can penetrate deeper into pores than AHAs to enable a deep cleanse and remove built up residue.

Skin Type
Suitable for very dry, rough and or bumpy skin. Also suitable for skin prone to Keratosis Piliaris.

Active Ingredients:

Salicylic Acid
SA has keratolytic and comedolytic properties and works by loosening and breaking apart keratin cells in in the outer layers of the skin to enable skin to renew and regenerate. The CeraVe salicylic acid cleanser breaks down the keratin bumps that have built up around hair follicles on the skin.

Ceramides
Ceramides are lipids (fats) found naturally in the outer layer of the skin. CeraVe SA Cleanser contains ceramides 1, 3, 6-11 to replenish lipids, prevent further moisture loss and help to create a strong, healthy, skin barrier. People with dry skin can have lower levels of ceramides.

Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid is a humectant and serves to draw in and retain water to keep the connective tissue moist. Hyaluronic acid hydrates dry, bumpy, rough skin and helps to create a strong, healthy, skin barrier.
